Hiline Jointing Systems
The Hiline range of pipe systems includes an extensive selection of different jointing techniques covering both the service pipes and outer casings.
Secure and reliable joints for pre-insulated pipe systems
We've heard it said that the three most important parts of a buried pre-insulated pipe network are the joints, the joints and the joints. Whilst there's many more important parts of a network, there is a ring of truth to this old saying.
We have spent more than forty years developing our current range of pipe systems and solutions for heat networks. Security, performance and reliability are at the heart of our Hiline systems and our selection of jointing techniques are no exception to this ethos.
Outer Casing Joints
Below, we have detailed the current range of options available for the outer casing joints, which include tubular joints that are fitted prior to the jointing of the service pipes and wrap-around systems that can be fitted after the service pipes are joined – including scenarios where repairs are required to damaged casings on live networks.
Electro-Fusion Joints
Suitable for all straight, rigid casing options.
Heat-Shrink Joints
Suitable for all types of Hiline systems, including flexible corrugated casings.
Clam-Shell Joints
These are suitable for the three Hiline PEX-based flexible systems with corrugated casings.
UK Manufactured
CPV is proud to be the UK’s longest-serving manufacturer of pre-insulated pipe systems for heating and cooling networks. Over four decades of experience have defined the company’s current Hiline range of solutions that are being used on heat networks far and wide. With its comprehensive choice of service pipe options, the company has developed an enviable range that is backed up by world-class service and support.
Service Pipe Joints
There is a selection of different jointing methods for use with the Hiline range of pre-insulated pipe systems. Each joint technique will vary according to the service pipe option chosen, which include the following:
Electro-Fusion Joints
Used for our rigid polymer service pipe options.
Mechanical Joints
Axial compression press-fitted or mechanically-clamped joints - typically used on our flexible polymer pipe systems
Spigot-Socket Chemical Weld
This method is used on our Hiline GRE system
