CarboSeal Relining System
Enabling the relining of buried heat network service pipes with minimal excavation
Introduction
While rehabilitating old heat network service pipes with CarboSeal@, the old pipe remains in the ground, with no need to excavate or refill the area nor to take care of the old pipe. By avoiding excavation, the carbon footprint of producing, installing and refilling is reduced by at least 80%. The system is designed to completely take over the workload of the host pipe, leaving it fully renewed.
Non-invasive
The underground pipe system is renewed without disturbing the activities above the pipe. Traffic, businesses, and other activities are left uninterrupted during the process. It is a fast. cost efficient and sustainable solution for district heating pipe system rehabilitation.
Verified
Thorough work by Research Institute of Sweden (RISE) and other partners PPR has proved that CarboSeal® can overcome the issues encountered by conventional trenchless technologies when applied to district heating pipes.
