Whilst the majority of pre-insulated heat networks are buried below-ground, sometimes a pipe route – especially in an urban area, will require above-ground sections of pipe installing. Our Hiline Steel pre-insulated pipe system offers solutions for both above and below-ground networks.
Below ground, we of course use our tough HDPE casings that can also include conti-casing options and a foil diffusion barrier to further enhance the performance of the PUR foam insulation.
Above ground, we can supply our Hiline Steel with a spiral-wound galvanised steel, casing that provides a robust barrier to the elements (as pictured below).
