Chemical Drainage for a Dairy Producer

A project being carried out by turnkey construction specialist TSL for a leading Irish dairy producer has selected CPV’s Chemflo chemical drainage system to safely convey caustic effluent produced during a cheese manufacturing process.

With a flow temperature of 85°C, the pipe system is perfectly suited to the harsh conditions of the media and offers the client safe and reliable operation. Manufactured by CPV in the UK from block copolymer polypropylene (PP-B), the pipe was supplied in a diameter of 250mm and included a selection of bespoke manways and bends that were fused together on site to create secure joints.

Roddy McGrath, site manager with TSL, said: “We’re very impressed with the system and CPV has been extremely helpful throughout the process - from us placing order right up to delivery on site.”

“The turnaround time was fast, CPV did exactly what they said they’d do and our client is very happy with the system.”
